Mid Craft
So far I have spent most of my time experimenting with tiny toad stools.
Through much trial and error, and some funky looking mushrooms, I've finally got the technique down.
The terrarium making itself requires a lot of gluing, waiting around and getting my hand into tight spaces. Fortunately I have freaky spider hands.

Hydrangeas and Hearts
Hydrangeas and Hearts
I’m not much of a pro-valentines gal myself, but I used the occasion as an excuse to host one of my (now famous) pot luck dinners.
The evening consisted of pink lemonade (with a hint of vodka), delicious food and an amusing present game (with some saucy valentines gifts).
I decorated the living area with the help of Pop Roc Parties, and my guests couldn’t stop instagramming.
I’m looking forward to organising another.
Check out Pop Roc Parties for some adorable party supplies: http://www.poprocparties.co.nz/
P.s. Thank you Perlina Lau for the charming photographs

On the Upside Down of the World
On the upside down of the world.
A few months ago I was given this upside down hanging pot plant as a gift.
I was very, very pleased.
I bought a fuschia plant for it, but for some reason all of the flowers keep falling off (I think I killed it…)
Today I finally potted a beautiful Nephrolepis (whatever the heck that is).
As a child I remember seeing one of these plants in Pietje’s house, and it’s still there today.

Terrarium
Terrarium
Over Christmas I had a craft spurt.
Here are a few of my creations.
I love terrariums, how they encapsulate a little world!
I remember making things like this when I was young. Putting rubber frogs, rocks and plants into jars.
I eventually want to make more and try my luck at a craft stall.
